In order to use Icelab Networks Email Defense you must make one simple DNS change to each domains MX (Mail Exchanger) record that you want to filter. Begin with these 3 easy steps:

NOTE: If your domain is already hosted by Icelab Networks then these steps are not necessary and your domain will be automatically configured.

Step 1. Signup for the email defense services here

Step 2. In less than 24 hours you will receive a welcome email indicating that your account is active.

Step 3. Change your DNS MX record to the following:

          10 domain.com.pri-mx.smtproutes.com.
          20 domain.com.bak-mx.smtproutes.com.

where domain.com is the domain name you want filtered.

Thats it! These changes usually take anywhere from 1 - 12 hours to propagate depending on your ISP's DNS zone configuration.
